Cofounding Creators

Janice Rocca and Michelle Raikuna-Jones are the cofounders of Raindrops of Diversity Framework.
Together we have combined our visions and skills in creating our innovated training model for Early Childhood Education and Care Services. Raindrops of Diversity Framework offers practical, hands on experiences connecting cultural perspectives that invest in meaningful and lasting change.
Our research, experiences and practices has proven that Raindrops of Diversity Framework compliments others approved ECEC frameworks and the National Quality Standards.
At the same time, Raindrops of Diversity Framework provides many tools for embedding respect and understanding Aboriginal connections to natural environments with a focus on play across all age groups.

Catholic Early Edcare

Raindrops of Diversity recently ran a great session with our team at St Augustine’s Long Day Care + Kindergarten showing them how to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander practices in the service. The kindergarten children have embraced these new opportunities to learn about other cultures and recently participated in a Fresh Water / Salt Water Yarning Circle

Lead Childcare Dayboro

Our team comes together regularly to participate in professional development. This month we were fortunate enough to have Raindrops of Diversity deliver a connecting to land professional conversation.
We are looking forward to embedding more Indigenous cultural experiences into our everyday.

Goodstart Early Learning Browns Plains - Browns Plains Road

Our Educators have been building their knowledge recently as they engaged with Raindrops of Diversity to embed Aboriginal and cultural perspectives into their rooms and across the centre.
When we received our resource pack this week we couldn’t wait to start exploring the wonderful turtles and tell dreaming stories with our mother turtle and her babies.
